The HIX SubliPro 2414 Conveyor Oven is a professional high-production sublimation oven engineered for decorators producing mugs, tumblers, bottles, glasses, and other compatible sublimatable products at production volumes.

Designed specifically for conveyorized sublimation production, the SubliPro 2414 combines controlled heat, high-volume recirculating airflow, adjustable conveyor speed, and a durable stainless-steel belt to provide consistent heating across a wide variety of substrates.

The 2414 features a 24" wide conveyor belt and a 60" long heated oven chamber, providing the production capacity needed for shops moving beyond conventional batch-style mug ovens. Its approximately 14-foot overall conveyor length provides adequate loading, heating, cooling, and unloading space for continuous production.

HIX's proprietary heating and recirculating airflow system uses specifically engineered heater positioning and approximately 1,500 CFM of recirculating airflow to maintain an extremely consistent temperature profile throughout the oven chamber. HIX reports temperature variation can be maintained to approximately within 10°F of the selected process temperature, helping provide dependable sublimation results even on demanding substrates.

The large oven opening accommodates compatible substrates measuring up to approximately 8.5" tall. This allows the SubliPro 2414 to process much more than standard mugs, including tumblers, drinking bottles, latte mugs, beer steins, glasses, shot glasses, pet bowls, and many other compatible sublimation-ready products.

A digital temperature controller allows operators to precisely establish the required process temperature, while the digital conveyor belt-speed controller adjusts dwell time inside the heating chamber. Together, these controls allow production settings to be optimized for different substrates, coatings, transfer papers, and sublimation applications.

The SubliPro 2414 incorporates a durable stainless-steel conveyor belt engineered for continuous operation in a high-temperature production environment. Products can be loaded continuously rather than processed in individual oven batches, helping improve workflow and increase production efficiency.

An integrated exit-end cooling system rapidly reduces product temperature as decorated items leave the heating chamber. This allows finished products to be handled and prepared for packing sooner while helping maintain a continuous production workflow.

HIX SubliPro ovens are designed for use with compatible wraps that provide the pressure necessary to hold the sublimation transfer firmly against the substrate during heating. HIX patented mug wraps are available for numerous drinkware shapes and sizes and help produce crisp, detailed transfers across the decorated surface.

This configuration is designed for 208V, 3-phase electrical service, making it suitable for professional production environments equipped with compatible commercial electrical power.

Production Estimates

Actual production speed depends on substrate size, required dwell time, oven temperature, loading pattern, wrap configuration, and transfer process.

For typical drinkware sublimation applications requiring approximately 10–12 minutes of dwell time, published production estimates for the SubliPro 2414 are approximately 130–160 pieces per hour when loading four products across the conveyor.

Other published HIX SubliPro production information describes the system as suitable for production ranging from approximately one hundred to several hundred mugs per hour depending on the application and production setup.

Applications
  • 11 oz. and 15 oz. sublimation mugs
  • Ceramic drinkware
  • Stainless-steel tumblers
  • Sublimation-ready bottles
  • Travel drinkware
  • Latte mugs
  • Beer steins
  • Glass drinkware
  • Shot glasses
  • Pet bowls
  • Tall drinkware
  • Wide or irregularly shaped compatible substrates

Usage Tips
  • Confirm that the facility has the proper 208V three-phase electrical service before installation.
  • Have electrical installation performed according to applicable electrical codes and HIX installation requirements.
  • Allow the oven to reach and stabilize at the required operating temperature before beginning production.
  • Match oven temperature and conveyor speed to the specific substrate, coating, sublimation ink, transfer paper, and wrap being used.
  • Perform test pieces whenever introducing a new substrate or changing production settings.
  • Use compatible sublimation wraps to maintain firm, even transfer contact around drinkware during heating.
  • Position products consistently across the conveyor to improve repeatability from one production run to another.
  • Take advantage of the available belt width by loading multiple compatible products across the conveyor when appropriate.
  • Avoid overcrowding the conveyor, which can interfere with proper airflow around the products.
  • Allow adequate spacing around unusually large substrates to maintain consistent circulating airflow.
  • Monitor finished products for signs of over- or under-sublimation and adjust belt speed or temperature as required.
  • Use the exit cooling section to reduce product temperature before handling or packaging.
  • Keep the stainless-steel conveyor belt clean and free of transfer debris.
  • Periodically inspect airflow openings and heating components according to HIX maintenance recommendations.
  • Follow all HIX installation, operating, ventilation, electrical, and maintenance requirements.
