Mimaki CJV200-160 64" Printer and Cut series
Professional 64" eco-solvent integrated print-and-cut system featuring Mimaki's advanced 330 Engine print technology, high-quality output up to 1200 dpi, precision contour cutting, and efficient production for signs, vehicle graphics, decals, banners, labels, and wide-format graphics.
Characteristics
The Mimaki CJV200-160 64" Printer and Cut Series is a professional wide-format eco-solvent printing and contour-cutting system engineered to combine high-quality graphics production, dependable productivity, and simplified operation in a single integrated machine.
Designed for professional sign shops, graphics producers, print service providers, and businesses expanding into wide-format production, the CJV200-160 allows operators to print and contour cut graphics without transferring printed media to a separate cutting plotter.
The 64" model accommodates media up to 63.8" (1,620 mm) wide and provides a maximum print and cut width of 63.4" (1,610 mm). This production capacity makes the CJV200-160 particularly well suited for vehicle wraps, signs, banners, window graphics, posters, wall graphics, labels, decals, stickers, point-of-purchase displays, and other large-format applications.
At the heart of the CJV200 Series is Mimaki's 330 Engine print technology. The machine incorporates a single on-demand piezo print head based on technology used in Mimaki's flagship printer platform, providing high-density printing and precise control of small ink droplets for detailed, professional-quality graphics.
Selectable print resolutions of 600, 900, and 1200 dpi give operators flexibility to balance image quality and production requirements. The CJV200 platform is designed to maintain excellent image quality while delivering practical production speeds suitable for everyday commercial graphics production.
Integrated contour cutting eliminates the need to move printed media between separate printing and cutting devices for many common applications. The cutting system provides speeds up to 300 mm/sec, cutting pressure from 10 to 450 gf, and repeatability of ±0.2 mm, excluding dimensional changes caused by film temperature.
This integrated workflow is especially valuable for the production of stickers, labels, decals, vehicle graphics, window graphics, floor graphics, promotional graphics, and other applications requiring accurately cut printed media.
The CJV200 Series is engineered with ease of operation and maintenance in mind. Its single-print-head configuration helps simplify routine maintenance while reducing the amount of cleaning and adjustment required compared with more complex multi-head configurations.
The printer supports Mimaki eco-solvent ink systems, including SS22 and SS21 configurations where available. SS22 supports CMYK plus Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Light Black, and Orange configurations, providing shops with options for producing vibrant, detailed graphics across a broad range of sign and display applications.
Media handling supports roll media up to 7.1" (180 mm) in diameter, with standard roll weights up to 55.1 lb (25 kg). With Mimaki's optional heavy-media support configuration, supported roll weight can be increased to 99.2 lb (45 kg).
With its combination of professional eco-solvent printing, integrated contour cutting, wide 64" media capability, high-resolution output, and simplified operation, the Mimaki CJV200-160 provides a versatile production platform for shops looking to efficiently produce finished wide-format graphics from a single machine.

- Use genuine Mimaki-approved eco-solvent inks and compatible media for consistent print quality and equipment performance.
- Select the appropriate print resolution according to the required balance of image quality and production speed.
- Allow printed graphics to properly outgas before lamination when required by the ink, media, laminate, and finished application.
- Perform routine print-head and capping-station maintenance according to Mimaki's recommended maintenance schedule.
- Keep the media path, pinch rollers, platen, and cutting area clean to help maintain reliable media feeding and contour-cut accuracy.
- Perform nozzle checks regularly and address missing or deflected nozzles before beginning critical production jobs.
- Use the appropriate cutting pressure for the specific vinyl, film, liner, and application being produced.
- Avoid excessive cutting pressure, which can damage the liner and reduce cutting accuracy.
- Verify print-and-cut registration before running long production jobs.
- Maintain the recommended operating temperature and humidity for consistent inkjet performance.
- Store media and inks according to manufacturer recommendations before use.
- Allow media to acclimate to the production environment when necessary.
